What’s out your window?

Exotic cars, towering skyscrapers, winding paths through souks fragrant with spices and sun . . . does this sound like your neighbourhood? If not, you’ve got to ask yourself: what am I waiting for and why haven’t I applied for this fabulous new Javascript role?

Located in Dubai, this international client is a financial company that believes online trading should be available to all . . . and it turns out the world agreed with them! Twenty years on, they’ve seen incredible growth around the globe. With a brand that’s recognized worldwide and a passion for hiring extraordinary employees, they are looking for a few great people to join their team.

The Dubai office is looking for a front-end developer. You should be used to working with a package manager (they use npm), a task runner (like Gulp or Webpack), a CSS preprocessor, and WebSockets. They’ve looking for someone with a wealth of experience across the JavaScript ecosystem – you should have opinions on ES6, played with TypeScript, understand the role of Babel and Web Workers, and you’ve mastered a modern framework like React or Angular.

Those mad JS skills of yours mean you could soon spend your weekends lounging on the white sands of Jumeirah Beach, dining at the 6-star Burj Al Arab Hotel (what, you thought hotels only went up to 5 stars? This is Dubai, baby!), or visiting the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. For those who want to reconnect with nature, check out nearby parks that are home to hyenas, falcons, and foxes. Whether you’re after family-friendly fun or the life of the glitterati, Dubai has all that and a bag of chips.

So, take a look around. Unless you see a sunny, spicy paradise of sand and adventure, it’s time to make a change. JS-geniuses, shoot us an email today and let us know why you’re right for this amazing opportunity in Dubai!

Let's do this!
