Let’s get right to it. This company, a non-profit that serves non-profits (try saying that 10X fast!), is looking for a mobile app developer. You, Mr. or Ms. Developer, will prototype new app features based on specific business requirements. You’ll test, debug, maintain, and refactor existing app features. You’ll update technical documentation as needed, research and advocate for new tools based on trends in technology, and act as a point person for app-related questions and issues.

Let’s keep going. Because the company’s platform is growing fast, this is a hybrid role. Ideally, you have both wide and deep experience in front-end development (HTML5, CSS, JS), Angular, Node.js, Ionic Mobile App Framework (Cordova plugins), XCode IDE (Android Studio), mobile cloud services (AWS, Firebase, Azure), and notification systems. You also know how to publish to the two big app stores—Apple and Google Play.

Whoa, that was a mouthful! Moving on. This platform offers its customers financial security, customer management, and fundraising opportunities. You’ll influence all three components, often simultaneously.

You’ll be joining a dispersed team of thinkers and tacticians; micromanagers are non-existent. The CTO is sharp and very likeable. The company has a big vision, and everyone embraces it, not because it’s a weird cult or something, but only because it’s ethical and cool. Most years the whole team flies to Switzerland for an end-of-season ski trip.

(If you don’t ski, you can wait for everyone at the hotel bar.)

So, what’ll it be? Are you interested in becoming the company’s new developer? Enter your email below and we’ll be in touch shortly.
