And get into the Silicon Valley of Malaysia!

Have you ever been in a city and felt like the city planners were drunk when they devised the layout? Streets veer off to nowhere, there are blocks and blocks with no greenspace, and the buildings are hunks of concrete. Not in Cyberjaya! This unique Malaysian town was planned holistically to attract the best and brightest from all over the world. Scads of international companies have their headquarters here, because they know that their employees deserve to live somewhere that was designed with care.

Our international client is a financial company that believes online trading should be available to all . . . and it turns out the world agreed with them! Twenty years on, they’ve seen incredible growth around the globe. With a brand that’s recognized worldwide and a passion for hiring extraordinary employees, they are looking for a few great people to join their team in Cyberjaya.

The Cyberjaya office is looking for a front-end developer. You should be used to working with a package manager (they use npm), a task runner (like Gulp or Webpack), a CSS preprocessor, and WebSockets. They’ve looking for someone with a wealth of experience across the JavaScript ecosystem – you should have opinions on ES6, played with TypeScript, understand the role of Babel and Web Workers, and you’ve mastered a modern framework like React or Angular.

Cyberjaya became a town in 1997. At its heart is an incredible 400-acre nature park, so you know greenspace won’t be an issue. Throughout the town are unique, interesting buildings, beautiful places to live, and all the restaurants and recreation facilities you’ll need to be sure that your post-work hours are never dull. And hey, if you decide you do want to get out of town, Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur are only a short distance away. For those with serious wanderlust, Air Asia’s home airport is in Kuala Lumpur, meaning all of Asia’s incredible cities are basically at your doorstep.

Isn’t it time you relocated to a town that has been designed to perfection? If this sounds like the place for you, send us an email today!
