A JS job the banks don’t want you to have…

Job ref: OSC1220 - Location: London - Salary: Strong

If you’ve ever been stiffed by your bank’s exchange rate fees, then here’s a job where you can channel your Tyler Durden, and hit them where it hurts. Don’t worry, it’s nothing quite as extreme as blowing up the world’s financial districts. Instead you’ll be working for a company that revolves around bringing currency exchange at fair prices to the people, whether that’s helping people get more bang for their buck or more Euro in their bureau.

Based in the heart of London’s financial district (see, it wouldn’t be good to blow up where you work), your offices are easily walkable from London Bridge, which puts you in an ideal commuter position to live anywhere in the South East, be it central London or further afield.

As you’ll be dealing with money, this is a job that carries significant responsibilities! They need work that’s right first time, and as secure as a crypto ledger locked in Fort Knox. That said, the team are friendly, relaxed and professional – you’re not going to be working long nights or weekends, nobody’s ever going to shout at you, and your colleagues are there to support you, not compete with you.

The team is looking for senior JavaScript / Node.js / React developers who can pioneer the technical direction of key company products and take on more architectural responsibility. They’re in the middle of a re-platforming move in that direction, so you’ve got a chance to build that beautifully architected system you’ve always wanted. So, if you have what it takes to do some sterling work with Sterling - we’d love to hear from you.
